Every day on the web, we see crazy boxes and accessories that are as surprising as they are useless. In this case, have we gone too far, or do we have something that just might work? Finnish company UNEVN has just launched a new product: an all-in-one computer package combining a gaming desk with a fully functional PC. The product is called BASE and includes a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse and…the gaming desk. The whole unit weighs 27 kg, and UNEVN claims that the kit only takes “about a minute” to install.
For UNEVN’s CEO, his product addresses the concerns of gamers and esports teams. The company has a certain legitimacy, since it was founded by brothers Aleksi and Santeri Rinkinen and former professional Dota 2 player and two-time international champion Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka.
They claim that their product is designed to offer optimal gaming performance and portability, so that players can play games anywhere.
Another of the product’s objectives is to be able to deploy competitions and bootcamps quickly and smoothly, while reducing the amount of space consumed unnecessarily…
The most muscular configuration on offer uses a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and an RTX 4070 Ti. It is complemented by an Alienware AW2523HF monitor. The price rises to 4149 euros.
