Quite recently, the MSI brand brought back to life an old series of motherboards: the MPower. Available only on the Asian market, this Z790 MPower is marketed as a dedicated OC RAM board. Brands such as Patriot therefore offer memory kits tailored to the card. Here we find a Viper Xtreme 5 RGB MPower set!
Viper Xtreme 5 RGB Mpower: a Patriot kit for MSI’s Z790 MPower!
The American brand is offering DDR5 memory kits with capacities of 32 GB or 48 GB. Of course, we’re talking about dual-channel sets here, with two 16GB or 24GB memory modules.
In terms of features, these RAMs boast high frequencies, with 8000 MT/s modules. Timings are 38-49-49-85, with a voltage of 1.45V.
In terms of dimensions, you’ll need to keep an eye on the height of the heatsinks, which measure 4.4 cm in height. Otherwise, you’ll notice the gray color of the heatsinks, in keeping with the destination platform. Xtreme 5 and MPower reminders are also present.
All that remains now is to find out their selling price and geographical availability. Nevertheless, it’s unlikely we’ll see them arrive in France, unfortunately.
