Sales figures have been particularly good for the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D in recent weeks. It has to be said that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 7700X and Ryzen 9 7900X are the best-selling processors almost everywhere this summer. This is the case not only in North America, but also in Germany, where we can refer to Mindfactory ‘s sales figures. The German sales list is dominated by AMD, with the top five processors in the Ryzen 5000 and 7000 ranges. In the top ten is just one Intel processor, the Core i5-13600KF, in 6th place. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D was last week’s best-selling CPU, followed by the 5800X3D, with sales of 590 and 310 units respectively.
In addition to its aggressive pricing policy, AMD is also offering a bundle in the run-up to Bethesda’s much-anticipated RPG, Starfield. The purchase of an eligible Ryzen processor entitles the buyer to a code for a free copy of Starfield Premium Edition or Classic Edition. While it’s difficult to quantify the effect of this offer on Ryzen sales, it should also be added that on the American continent many distributors, such as NewEgg, have stepped up their promotions with discount coupons. At Microcenter, since the beginning of the summer, the Ryzen 7000 range has been regularly positioned below official public prices.
