The RTX 4060 Ti towards a price of $450?

Now that the RTX 4070 has been launched, rumors about the mid-range model are flying. Logically, the next reference to be released is the RTX 4060 Ti. Even if we already suspect, quite strongly, its final characteristics, we still have to know its selling price. And that’s what we’re talking about today, since a new rumor indicates that it could land at $450.

RTX 4060 Ti, a $450 price point?

RTX 4060 Ti - RTX 4060As a reminder, this card will aim to occupy the mid-range sector of NVIDIA. For this, we would have to deal with a card equipped with an AD106 GPU containing 34 SM, or 4352 cuda core. Besides, the memory part will be based on a 128-bit bus with a supposed bandwidth of 288 GB/s. Finally, the capacity in VRAM would be of 8 Gb.

Finally, the power consumption/heating should be controlled since the TBP should be around 160W. This leaves the choice between an 8-pin PCIe connector and the 16-pin 12VHPWR from NVIDA.

The only thing left to resolve is the price, which could well be around $450 according to Red Gaming Tech. Finally, the reasons behind this assumption have to do with the current state of the market. As we have seen, since the launch of the RTX 4070, AMD cards have seen their prices melt away. ASRock’s RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming is even trading at around $779. This could force NVIDIA to lower its entry ticket, especially since we don’t know much about AMD’s future RX 7600/7700.

But let’s not be too quick to rejoice either, let’s remember that the RTX 3060 Ti was announced at $399… And there was a time when the X60 Ti was selling for $250… But then again, we’ll be told that inflation and so on and so forth…

PS : yes, the news is quite empty at the moment.
