Antec’s C5 case is here!

Here’s a look back at a case we mentioned in mid-April: the C5 from Antec. This compartmentalized case with a clear view of your configuration is gradually arriving on the market.

C5: Antec’s new case is here!

Antec C5With this case, we find a rather compact compartmentalized model with dimensions of 285 (W) x 469 (D) x 400 (H) mm. While width remains important, height and depth are limited, especially when compared to Corsair’s 6500D Airflow!

Internally, the case remains compatible with ATX motherboards at most… But it does support BTF and Project Zero models from ASUS and MSI! The graphics card is 410 mm long, while CPU height is limited to 160 mm. Finally, the power supply has a clearance of 240 mm.

Ventilation is more than complete by default, with seven fans fitted as standard. It’s worth noting that those mounted on the bottom and on the side of the motherboard feature inverted blades for added perf and style. Nevertheless, this model will accommodate a total of 10 fans, with an integrated hub to manage eight fans and their lighting system.

As far as watercooling is concerned, the capacities offered by this C5 are good, with support for 360 mm models at the top and bottom. You can even enjoy push/pull configurations at the top, provided you have RAM with a height of less than 35 mm. On the side, a 280 mm radiator slot (75 mm thick) is available.

In terms of price, we’re looking at between €108 and €129, depending on the store and the color, as it’s also available in white!
