Today sees the end of the NDA on the performance of the Intel Core Ultra 200S processors, aka the Arrow Lake processors. We’ve already had the opportunity to talk to you about this new generation in this article, as well as unboxing several motherboards, including the ROG Maximus Z890 HERO, the ROG Maximus Z890 APEX, the AORUS Z890 MASTER and, most recently, the MSI MEG Z890 Unify-X.
The arrival of this new generation, and more recently the Ryzen 9000, has prompted us to update all our test configurations and offer you a new, much more comprehensive CPU test protocol. It’s taken us quite a few hours of work over the last few weeks to re-test the latest generations of CPUs with the new BIOSes implementing the patches for Intel processors in particular. The task is not yet complete, as we will be adding another series of ‘older’ processors over the coming weeks. We’ll also be back with a test dedicated to overclocking with the ROG Maximus Z890 APEX.
