However, we must wait to see the offer diversify to get a real idea on the price. But there is no doubt that the switch to DDR5 will push the prices upwards. First of all, the Z690 motherboards in DDR5 will be the most high-end models (therefore the most expensive) and the most powerful kits will exceed the price mentioned above. It will be necessary to wait until the end of 2022 or 2023 for the prices of DDR5 to become more democratic. In the meantime, motherboards equipped with ddr4 and ddr5 slots should be available at launch.
