We’re off to Germany with Cherry’s new in-house keyboard: the KC 200 MX. With this new reference, the brand is showcasing a 104-key keyboard equipped with the new, revised MX2A!

KC 200 MX: a new 104-key keyboard from Cherry!

Cherry KC 200 MXAs we said, this new keyboard is a 104-key reference. Its dimensions are 430 (W) x 121 (D) x 39 (H) mm. As for weight, this keyboard weighs in at 830 g, despite the presence of a brown anodized metal plate.

Internally, the brand opts for its new MX2A in-house switches. As a reminder, these are actually an overhaul of existing models, with factory lubrication. Likewise, the shape of the spring has been modified, as have a few other little touches here and there. As for sensations, the brand offers its MX2A Brown (tactile) and MX Silent Red (linear and silent).

Otherwise, we’re dealing with a classic keyboard with a 1000 Hz polling rate and 1 ms latency. N-Key rollover and anti-ghosting are also present. Finally, there’s 256 kB of internal memory for macro recording. There are no backlights.

The price will be rather low, coming in at €90 for a French version. However, it’s only a matter of days before it hits our shelves.
