It’s no longer a secret that Nvidia will be announcing their “new” RTX 4070Ti in the next few hours for the opening of #CES2023 to the press. If the characteristics of this card are no longer a mystery, it seems that the greens are in the process of revising their prices. Thus for a few hours, the price of 799 US$ is evoked. The availability for the general public will start on January 5th. For this version Nvidia will not launch a “Founders Edition”.
The RTX 4070Ti RTX 4070 Ti will feature the fully enabled AD104 GPU containing 7,680 cores on 60 SM and 48MB of L2 cache. It will be coupled with 12GB of GDDR6X memory on a 192-bit bus. A TBP of 300W seems to be expected. You can expect a 20-30% drop in performance in games compared to the current RTX 4080.
The other information that our friends from Nvidia will detail concerns the RTX 40 mobile range. These GPUs will obviously come with reduced clocks and limited TBP. Some pessimists point out that the mobile RTX 4060 might only be 20-30% faster than the previous mobile version of the RTX 3060…All this is yet to be confirmed of course. Finally, dreamers secretly hope that Nvidia will announce an overhaul of its price list to make the cards more accessible in 2023…
