Via Steam we can now take a look at the recommended system requirements for Starfield. As a reminder, the title is developed and published by Bethesda and will be released exclusively on PC and XBox. Launch date? September 6, if the calendar remains unchanged!
Starfield: PC requirements
Of course, a lot can happen between now and September 6. The first PC configurations have just been released on Steam. So, what do you need?
- Minimum :
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or Intel Core i5 6800K
- RAM: 16 GB
- GPU: AMD RADEON RX 5700 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti
- Recommended:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or Intel Core i5-10600K
- RAM: 16 GB
- GPU: AMD RADEON RX 6800 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080
Overall, the configurations required are not particularly demanding. Indeed, the title should run well on processors equipped with six or more cores. As for graphics, cards with 8 GB of memory should be sufficient. What’s more, we don’t yet know what level of detail or resolution these configurations are intended for. Finally, as long as the game doesn’t give us a TLOU we’ll say it’s okay…
What’s more, we’ll have to wait for more detailed configurations to know what level of detail and resolution we can expect with the machines described above. In the meantime, make room on your storage, as 125 GB are required!
