The Galax brand announces a new graphics card with its RTX 3060 Metaltop Mini. Thus, the manufacturer offers a very compact model, perfectly suited to mini-ITX cases.
RTX 3060 Metaltop Mini: a card only 16.8 cm long!
With this model, Galax offers us an ultra-compact card since it is only 16.8 cm long. Similarly, we are dealing with a card that will occupy only two expansion slots in your case: only 4 cm thick.
Despite the presence of a single fan, it still has a semi-passive operation. Thus, at low load, the mill will remain at a complete stop. An ideal card for mounting HTPCs or other multimedia machines. In addition, when the ventilation starts, the hot air will be expelled from the front and rear of the card.
In terms of characteristics, the brand offers a GA106 GPU running at the base frequencies of the RTX 3060. This translates into a chip running at 1777 MHz. On the memory side, the 12 GB of GDDR6 run at 15 Gbps.
For now, the price is not yet known, especially since the announcement comes from China. It is difficult to say whether the brand will launch its model internationally or not.
