Four AIO watercooling in 420 mm at Thermaltake !

Thermaltake Toughliquid Ultra 420 RGBThe Thermaltake brand is aggressively launching four all-in-one watercooling kits in 420mm. There are two models from the ToughLiquid Ultra series and two TH420 models with a color change. Indeed, the latter are available in black and white.

In all cases, we are dealing with imposing models with their radiator that can accommodate up to three 140 mm fans. Unfortunately, except for the size, they will not offer anything more. The finish seems basic, the construction relies on copper and the thickness also remains standard with 27 mm. On the other hand, be careful with your case because to accommodate such a model, you need space!

Otherwise, the “Ultra” models have an LCD display on the top of the pump. It will be possible to display a lot of things between .jpeg, .gif or system information, there is a lot of fun.

When it comes to ventilation, performance will depend on the kit you choose. Thus, on the ToughLiquid Ultra, we will have the right to ToughFan 14/RGB which displays :

  • ToughFan 14 :
    • Speed : from 500 RPM to 2000 RPM
    • Air flow : 119,1 CFM
    • Static pressure: 3,54 mmH2O
  • ToughFan 14 RGB:
    • Speed : from 500 RPM to 2000 RPM
    • Air flow : 107 CFM
    • Static pressure: 3.04 mmH2O

On their side, the TH420 have slower fans whose data sheet is a little less flattering since they display :

  • Speed: 500 RPM to 1800 RPM
  • Air flow : 84,32 CFM
  • Static pressure : 3,02 mmH2O

Now, all that remains is to know the prices. Of course, we expect a wide range of prices. On the one hand, we have AIOs with screens, on the other hand not, and the same goes for the ventilation, premium for the ToughLiquid Ultra, and more entry-level for the TH420. This is obviously a factor.
