This morning, I went to Amazon Germany, not for a good plan, but to talk about motherboards. Indeed, the retailer does not hesitate to display the future motherboards of Asus in B760 and H770! The prices are also known and it is necessary to deal, at the moment, with some big increases according to the models!
B760/H770: nine known Asus boards!
We are not going to give you a complete presentation of each of the nine models, it would be too long and redundant. Just know that all the brand’s ranges are present. So there will be cards from the ROG, TUF Gaming and Prime series for the entry/mid-range models.
Likewise, all formats are planned. We will have cards in ATX format with the Strix B760-F Gaming WiFi, Strix B760-A Gaming WiFi D4, the two TUF models and Prime B760-Plus D4. On the micro-ATX side, we have the Strix B760-G Gaming WiFi D4, Prime B760M-A WiFi D4 and Prime B760M-K D4. Finally, the ITX is also part of the party with the small Strix B760-I Gaming!
Now, the posted prices are clearly up from the previous generation. The most expensive card, which is the Strix B760-F Gaming WiFi, is now priced at €336.18, which is 33% more than the previous generation. Even the small Prime B760M-K D4, the most affordable model, shows a 28% price increase with a price of €163.76. Finally, the card with the smallest price change is the Strix B760-I Gaming with “only” +3% to €258.52. However, this is nothing compared to the +61% of the Prime B760M-A WiFi D4.
While these price increases may be scary out of hand, keep in mind that the cards have not yet been launched. These prices are therefore a placeholder and may vary between now and next month. Yes, we should count on a January 3rd launch!
