The i9 14900K and i7 14700K in bench!

After the drivers that collect your data, we stay in the Intel world with benchmarks of two upcoming CPUs. Indeed, the Core i9 14900K and Core i7 14700K have been spotted on CrossMark.

A quick tour of CrossMark for the Core i9 14900K and Core i7 14700K!

Here we find the successors to the i9 13900K and i7 13700K. While the 14900K remains quite identical to the 13 900K in its core configuration, the 14700K has evolved. It features four additional E-Cores. In any case, even if it’s not specified, we can expect an increase in frequencies. As a result, the 14900K should grind just as fast as the 13900KS.

As far as the configurations used for testing are concerned, we know that the graphics unit used was an RTX 4090. On the memory side, on the other hand, we had DDR5 running at 4800 MT/s, in line with Jedec standards. What’s more, when you see Acer’s name in the 14700K’s power management box, you can imagine that this is an OEM-type machine.

As for the scores, of course, it’s difficult to use them to compare with the competition. As it stands, the software reports lower scores than their thirteenth-generation counterparts, so comparing them to Ryzen would be meaningless. What’s more, we don’t know what state these processors are in: engineering sample, qualification sample? Furthermore, the scores show the 14900K to be around 14% more powerful than the 14700K.

If benchmarks are starting to spring up like this, it can’t mean that the launch is imminent. In fact, rumors suggest that Intel may offer its fourteenth generation (a dusting off of the thirteenth) in October.
