Ryzen 7000 price drop continues

We have mentioned several times that the new AMD Ryzen 7000 processors were struggling in front of the Alder Lake / Raptor Lake duo from Intel. AMD seems decided to reposition its new Ryzen 7000 processors and in the last few days, a new drop has been noticed at most distributors. If in Europe the evolution of the exchange rate is not innocent in this situation, the trend is however everywhere the same showing a willingness of AMD to correct the situation. In Germany in the last few hours, the Ryzen 9 7950X has flirted with the 600 euro mark, while the Ryzen 9 7900X has fallen below the 500 euro mark. Let’s keep in mind that Intel also benefits from the good evolution of the exchange rate in Europe, but at this moment, the gap between the top of the range Intel and AMD is about 20 euros.

While AMD had announced specific and limited time promotions for Black Friday, we all noticed that the prices were maintained and then even continued to fall. Thus, “Black Week” ended and AMD followed up with a promotion titled “Holiday Deals Are Here!” “Buy Now”. It is very likely that these prices will continue and that a new price list will be announced at CES where AMD is expected to make a number of announcements.
