Unveiled last January at CES, the AMD Ryzen 7000X3D range of processors officially arrives this February 28th 2023. In fact, the announced range is composed of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, the Ryzen 9 7900X3D and the Ryzen 9 7950X3D but it is finally the last two mentioned that will land first. We will have to wait until April 6 to get our hands on the Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
With this new series, AMD targets directly the gamers. Indeed, the complex and heavy nature of video games very often allows a processor “boosted” by an L3 cache to take over. This is what we will try to see by comparing these performances in games with the Ryzen 9 7950X but also and especially with the Intel i9-13900KS released a few weeks ago.
