Direction MSI, where new Project Zero components can be seen. We’re talking about a new motherboard, the Z790 PZ, and a case. This model, the MEG Maestro PZ, will be ideal for housing your components. All the more so as the design is not overlooked, with its curved glass panel!

Project Zero: a visible Z790 board!

MSI Z790 Project ZeroWe’re off to MSI, where new components, with no visible cables, are on display. We start with the motherboard, the Z790 Project Zero (already mentioned here). The latter, in ATX format, arrives in a black/white color theme. Heat shields and heat sinks run along the front of the board, giving it a particularly polished look.

The bulk of the connectivity is positioned at the rear of the PCB, from the 24-pinATX, 8-pin EPS12V CPU and SATA to the various headers. Once the board has been installed in the right case, the cables are completely hidden from view, making for a clean configuration.

From what we can see, the card offers a total of four memory slots, three PCIe x16 and one PCIe x1. For storage, we have six SATA and probably four M.2 slots, but we can’t be sure.

MEG Maestro PZ, the perfect case, with curved glass panel!

MSI Z790 Project ZeroWith this case, the brand opts for a compartmentalized design. What’s more, the glass side panel is curved, even covering the front panel.

Internally, of course, we have all the openings needed to make PZ card connectivity accessible. What’s more, the graphics card will necessarily be installed vertically, as you can see.

The rest of the specifications are unknown. However, MSI has opted for a layout that gives pride of place to ventilation. As you can see, there are numerous fan slots. You’ll find them at the bottom, top, side and rear. Normally, it should breathe well!

For the time being, according to Vortez, these components are still in the prototype stage. They should be revealed at CES, but we can’t be sure.
