More photos of the Titan Ada or RTX 4090 Ti heatsink!

Rumours of a possible RTX 4090 Ti or Titan Ada were rife some time ago. Indeed, in October 2022, a four-slot heatsink made its first appearance. Then, in January 2023, more photos surfaced… Since then, it’s been dead calm, until today, when more photos appeared online.

RTX 4090 Ti / Titan Ada, more photos of a massive heatsink!

RTX 4090 Ti - Titan ADAOnce again, the heatsink in question is truly massive, with its four slots. Likewise, it still features an original layout, forcing it to be mounted vertically in a case. As you can see, contact with the GPU/VRAM/VRM is made on the edge of the heatsink, which is still just the heatsink, since no PCB is mounted on it.

Rear connectivity remains hopelessly empty, despite featuring three DisplayPorts and a single HDMI. As for the power supply, a 12VHPWR should have been present, since it is physically mounted on the cooler. Now all that’s left is to find out what we’re dealing with.

Honestly, we think that the project behind this board is more or less buried and that it’s a question of “therapeutic doggedness”. On the heatsink, you can clearly see the words “RTX 4090”. It’s not impossible that this is an initial prototype of the 4090, which was then reworked by NVIDIA before seeing the light of day as we know the card.
