EmiSphere at Japan Expo 2023!

Japan Expo, a trade show focusing on Japanese culture, was held this year from July 13 to 19 at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center. The show is a great opportunity to discover Japanese popular culture, and we gave you a brief debrief of our day there on Saturday.

However, in the video game section of the show, we came across a very special stand. It was exhibiting configurations with customized casings: EmiSphere! So we had the opportunity to chat a bit on the spot and take a look at these exotic PCs!

EmiSphere: customize the glass panel of your case!

After exchanging a few words with the people on the stand, we learned that EmiSphere was born of a desire to personalize the glass pane of its case. Following the first photos posted on social networks, the craze was born. Since then, the team has been offering a personalization service via their website. For €195, you can have your panel engraved with a more than convincing result!

Of course, other projects go much further, such as stained glass panels. For example, the Hearthstone model, or the Thermaltake Core P Iron Man, where the side windows give way to stained glass in the old-fashioned style. Here, the glass is mounted on lead and soldered with tin.

On other PCs, other techniques were sometimes used, such as mirror assembly. Indeed, on the ROG Hyperion Daft Punk, we find a stack of several layers of polished mirror tinted to form the helmets of the band members… Or, as on the World of Warcraft machine, several engraved panels stacked on top of each other. In this way, the team manages to give a real effect of depth to their work!

In short, an excellent discovery. If you’d like to get in touch and carry out a project, this is the place to do it.
