If you follow our news regularly, you’ll know that we’re busy reviewing the components of a custom iCUE Link-compatible liquid cooling loop from Corsair. We’ve already reviewed the Corsair XC7 RGB Elite LCD processor waterblock, the Corsair iCUE Link XG3 RGB Hybrid GPU waterblock and presented the rest of the components. We’re now waiting for our box so we can install our liquid cooling loop. But now Corsair has expanded its Hydro X offering to include iCUE Link-compatible components.
Corsair iCUE Link XD5 RGB Elite LCD:
We know that many people are waiting for this new combo/pump, as we’ve received quite a few private messages about its availability. Well, Corsair has finally announced the arrival of this iCUE Link XD5 RGB Elite LCD. In simple terms, it’s the same combo/pump we received, but with the addition of a 2.1″ IPS LCD screen. It offers 480 x 480 resolution, dynamically displaying coolant temperatures, images or animated GIFs in real time.
The price is announced at 349.90 euros, which is quite high, but the version without screen is already priced at 254.90 euros.
Corsair Hydro X Series iCUE Link XG7 RGB 40-series :
You’ve been waiting for these, as we understand you’re more interested in a waterblock in contact with all the GPU’s PCB components. Corsair is now offering iCUE Link-compatible waterblocks. With an emphasis on versatility, the new XG7 RGB series still offers a variety of connection options, ensuring that the needs of various DIY builders are seamlessly met.
Several models designed to fit a growing number of graphics cards will be available for purchase over the coming months. The price of the waterblock for the RTX 4090 is 239.90 euros.
CORSAIR Hydro X Series XT Softline Mesh Tubing:
Ah, we’ve been waiting for these. Corsair no longer offers soft tubes for your liquid cooling loop on its website, but it’s back with the Hydro X Series XT Softline Mesh Tubing available in black or white. These new tubes are made from tough EPDM rubber and feature a unique mesh layer giving them a rugged, elegant look.
