Asus continues to work on its RTX 4000 Strix, a series of cards customized by the brand. These cards are now available in a new color: white! And we’ll see, in the process, they lose a bit of color.

Asus RTX 4000 Strix comes in white!

Asus RTX 4000 Strix White Asus offers us white RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 Strix. Compared to the black model, we notice that the fairing loses a little color. No more red and blue peaks. Here we have the right to different shades of gray and an RGB part on the back of the card.

Otherwise, the model is still imposing with a length of 357.6 mm. But beware of the thickness as well, since we’re talking about a card that occupies three slots, or even a little more in your case.

Nevertheless, these important dimensions can be explained by a very elaborate heatsink. The latter includes a vapor chamber, a trio of Axial-Tech fans and a block of solid aluminum fins! This is enough to cool the 320W and 450W TDP of the RTX 4080 and RTX 4090! In addition, a card holder is provided to strengthen the support of these monsters.

Asus RTX 4090 Strix White

In terms of frequencies, we know that the RTX 4090 Strix White benefits from factory overclocking. In OC mode, the GPU will reach 2640 MHz in boost against 2610 MHz by default. For comparison, the reference card runs at 2520 MHz in boost. As for the RTX 4080 Strix White, it’s hard to say, as the brand’s page is not yet online. On the other hand, we can reasonably rely on the 2535 MHz (OC) and 2505 MHz (base) of its black counterpart.

It remains only to be patient, these versions are not yet available for purchase. Also, we are curious to see if the selling price will be impacted by the color!
