Even though we seriously suspected it, Gigabyte has confirmed one thing: AGESA 1.1.0.0 is indeed intended for Ryzen 8000G APUs. Via its website, the brand indicates that the code does indeed contain support for upcoming APUs… Something that ASUS and ASRock did not do until now.

Gigabyte is rolling out its new bios to a wide range of motherboards. This applies to the X670, B650 and A620 models. In the description of the update, we find the code AGESA 1.1.0.0. What’s more, the company indicates that this update is intended for new-generation Ryzen APUs, so there’s no longer any room for doubt… Even if there weren’t any left.

What’s more, the company is letting the cat out of the bag as to when these new models will be launched:

” GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd, a leading manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards, and hardware solutions, released the latest AGESA 1.1.0.0 beta bios for AM5 next gen APU support on X670, B650, A620 motherboards. The forthcoming AM5 next gen APU will be launched at the end of January 2024. “

Basically, by the end of January 2024, AMD will have launched its future APUs. We told you about them here, but we expect four models to be launched. These will offer 4-core and 8-core configurations, with more or less elaborate graphics and DDR5 support. Likewise, some models will feature a hybrid core configuration, with efficient and “performance” models.
