From ASRock, we can see the arrival of new bios. These contain the AGESA 1.1.0.0 code, which augurs well for new AMD processors to come. If the Ryzen 8000 is still a long way off, the Ryzen 7000G APUs should be here soon!

Ryzen 7000G: ASRock releases bios!

Ryzen 7000GCurrently, only two of ASRock’s AMD motherboards have received a bios update. In fact, this update only concerns the X670E Taichi and X670E Tachi Carrera. To update them, you’ll need to opt for version 2.0 bios. The description includes AMD’s AGESA 1.1.0.0 code. By the way, the weight of the bios has increased significantly, from 10 ~ 11 MB to almost 13 MB here. Clearly, a lot of code has been added!

For the moment, we don’t yet know what fixes, optimizations or support it brings. However, we can assume that support for future APUs has been added. As a reminder, previous AGESA codes mentioned preliminary support for these upcoming processors.

Apparently, if our colleague is to be believed, there has recently been some movement concerning these chips. Shipment manifests for Ryzen 5 7500G and Ryzen 3 7300G have reportedly been spotted.
