As we saw yesterday, ASRock released bios with AGESA 1.1.0.0 containing support for Ryzen 7000G processors. However, deployment was limited to just two AMD boards. This time, it’s Asus’ turn to do the same. However, it concerns around ten boards equipped with the X670E chipset !

AGESA 1.1.0.0: also deployed by Asus!

The ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme affected by this Bios update

This update does indeed contain AMD’s new AGESA code, which offers support for Phoenix APUs. Clearly, we can expect the brand to launch Ryzen 5 7500G and Ryzen 3 7300G. These will feature a monolithic design and a total of 6 Zen4 cores. Of course, the chips would benefit from DDR5 memory and improved bandwidth, which would be very beneficial to the integrated graphics part.

Currently, the most recent APUs on the market are Ryzen 5000Gs equipped with Zen3 cores and Vega graphics. Clearly, it’s time for the reds to come up with something new in this sector.

The cards receiving this update are models from the ROG Crosshair, ROG Strix, TUF Gaming and ProArt series, but please note that this applies initially to models equipped with X670E chipsets. Secondly, we should mention that the bios are still in the BETA phase and that the changes made are not yet known. Given that the APUs have not yet been launched, perhaps it would be wiser to be patient before flashing all over the place!
