In the world of notebook graphics cards, AMD is already present. Indeed, the brand offers its RX 7600M and its imposing RX 7900M based on a Navi 31 GPU. The latter can be found in action in Alienware’s latest laptop , whose problems have been corrected. Finally, there’s an abysmal gap between the two series, a gap that AMD intends to close with a Navi 32-based 7800M!

Navi 32

By extending its Navi 32 GPU to the laptop sector, AMD now has what it takes to offer not only an RX 7800M, but also an RX 7700M. This would give the brand a complete range of mobile GPUs to rival NVIDIA in all sectors.

From a physical point of view, the latter would be close to the Navi 31, offering a similar package. However, the 5 nm chip would be more compact, containing just 60 compute units, compared with 96 for the Navi 31. It would also be surrounded by four 6 nm GCDs. These would offer up to 64 MB of Infinity Cache and a 256-bit memory bus.

For the consumer sector, this GPU is designed to be soldered directly onto the PCB of notebook PC motherboards. However, an MXM version is also available for OEMs. This model was spotted by @Harukaze5719 via a manifesto on Twitter.
