It should have been the first, but in the end, the NDA date was pushed back a day, as the samples arrived very late. We received our copy of this NVIDIA RTX 4080 SUPER Founders Edition on Monday, January 29. As a reminder, “Founders Edition” models are graphics cards offered by NVIDIA that account for around 15% of sales.
The NVIDIA RTX 4080 SUPER officially arrives on January 31st at the MSRP price of 1109 euros ($999). This is excellent news on the price front, since the RTX 4080 was launched at $1199. As with the RTX 4070 Ti, production of the RTX 4080 will cease. While the amount of memory remains unchanged at 16 GB, the number of CUDA cores has risen from 9728 to 10240, so we should see a slight gain in performance over the RTX 4080.
