Conclusion
We’ve now come to the end of this test of Endorfy’s Liv and Liv Plus Onyx White Wireless. So, what did we think of them?
Very good devices from Endorfy!
The Endorfy brand has come up with an interesting new range of mice on paper, with a long battery life claimed for the wireless version and a good finish. On top of that, it’s got plenty of RGB LEDs to complete the package. However, for the wireless version once again, the base never goes into ‘standby’ mode. It remains constantly lit on the desktop. We would have appreciated it if the LEDs had switched off when the PC was switched off. So, if your PC is in your bedroom, you might want to think about switching to a less bright and colourful effect!
Despite everything, these two models have a thin, discreet paracord cable. This is not a fully ambidextrous mouse like Corsair’s M75 Wireless. In fact, the buttons on the left ‘spoil’ things a bit.
In use, the mouse is a pleasure to use, with a grip that’s simple and easy to grasp. It won’t take you long to get the hang of it. However, its glide is slightly hampered by its large PTFE pads. It would have been ideal to replace them with several small pads scattered around the ends of this model. On a day-to-day basis, it’s fairly quiet to use. It’s a far cry from the very audible clicks of the Harpoon RGB Wireless, for example.
Endorfy is really generous here, with a nice bundle. You’ll find adhesive strips and replacement mouse pads, not to mention a little extra sticker. It’s really nice to find a full box for once!
How much do these models cost?
The Liv Plus is available for €89 and the basic version for €35. That’s really good value for money compared with the competition. For example, a Model O Wireless costs €100, while a Burst Pro Air from Roccat costs €80… So we’re in pretty good shape! And let’s not forget the little Liv available for just €35. Frankly, this one’s a banger in my book.
Endorfy Liv & Liv Plus Onyx White Wireless:
We liked :
- Its long battery life
- Its well-mastered RGB keys
- The sophisticated underside of the mouse
- Its thin, discreet paracord cable
- It’s fairly silent in use
- Simple and easy to use
- Interesting bundle
- A really nice design!
What we didn’t like :
- The glide is slowed down because of its large PTFE pads
- The RGB doesn’t go to “standby” when the PC is switched off
In the end, we’ve decided to award gold to these Endorfy mice. What we have here is a wireless mouse with great battery life and good performance. However, its glide is somewhat hampered by the large PTFE pads. We also regret that the charging base doesn’t go into standby mode when the PC is switched off. All the same, this is an interesting and comprehensive bundle . Not to mention the Liv’s €35 price tag, which is really attractive!
Many thanks to Endorfy!
