Xikii FF10: Is the newest addition to the FF (For Fun) family the best case for the RTX 5090 Founders Edition ? It certainly has a lot going for it. It also aims to become the most versatile case in the Xikii lineup, as it’s compatible with all graphics cards that meet Nvidia’s SFF-Ready standard.
Xikii FF10 : Vertical Design
The FF10 is the first model in a series exploring vertical design for the brand’s Small Form Factor (SFF) cases. As is customary with Xikii, the design efforts are immense, and the attention to detail is uncompromising. We’re looking at a 7.5 kg monolith with surprising dimensions :
- Width = 342 mm
- Height = 340 mm
- Depth = 92 mm
- Volume = 11 L
The FF10 is remarkably slim. Yet it’s designed to accommodate an RTX 5090 FE under optimal conditions thanks to a dedicated chamber. Xikii’s initial design was even intended to be exclusive to this GPU, but it gradually evolved into a more versatile final product.
At the bottom, one open-mesh side offers a glimpse of the CPU chamber, while the other is completely smooth. The front panel is minimalist but has been carefully engineered. It features two USB-C ports, an audio port, and power and reset buttons.
At the top, the GPU chamber—the centerpiece—is heavily perforated and completely separate from the CPU chamber.
SFF Ready : Spotlight on the Nvidia Standard
Known for its exclusive cases limited to a single graphics card model (such as the FF07 designed for the ASUS ROG ASTRAL), Xikii has made a notable effort to make the FF10 compatible with all GPUs that meet Nvidia’s SFF-Ready standard. The range of possibilities is vast and even extends to many AMD cards that comply with the dimensions of this standard (though they are not listed on Nvidia’s website for obvious reasons).
The Chinese brand even takes into account the various power connector placements, addressing the challenges posed by the 12V-2×6 configuration. As a result, two separate routing paths are provided between the CPU and GPU chambers to optimally route the troublesome connector while minimizing constraints and kinks. Owners of Founders Edition models will prefer the side route, while others will choose the center route.
