Unveiled at CES 2026, the Cooler Master MasterFrame 360 Stage LCD adds a 15.6-inch display and a stand to the brand’s FreeForm 2.0 structure.
After giving you a detailed overview, we’ll now focus on its modding andcustom water-cooling capabilities. We’ll also take this opportunity to give you an exclusive look at the new Alphacool monoblock, as well as the new Apex Grip line of fittings.
MasterFrame 360 Stage LCD: Modularity?
The entire Cooler Master FreeForm 2.0 lineup promises high modularity and naturally appeals to modders and enthusiasts ofcustom builds. The aluminum frame is perforated throughout, offering great versatility for mounting components. And if the original mounts aren’t enough, 3D printing can easily be brought into the mix.
A Must-Have
But the 360 Stage LCD stands out. While it retains the basic external structure, the addition of the stage and the front display has significant implications. The chassis is much more visually imposing than the original model. Inside, we find a central compartment for cable management. While practical, this layout requires a specific distribution of space among the compartments, forcing the graphics card to be installed vertically. The brand has made this choice deliberately, aiming to position this chassis primarily as a showcase model. The 5.0 riser is included. GPUs of all sizes are supported (up to 430 mm), and a mounting bracket is provided. The MasterFrame’s high level of modularity is thus clearly compromised here in favor of visual impact.
Radiator and Fan Mounts The Stage LCD’s adjustable mounts can accommodate, both at the top and bottom:
- 6 120 mm fans
- 2 140 mm fans
- 2 180 mm fans
- 2 200 mm fans
When it comes to radiators, things get a bit more complicated. We can easily install 400 mm, 2×180 mm, 280 mm, or 360 mm models. The mount for six 120 mm fans might suggest the possibility of placing two 360 mm radiators side by side. That’s not the case. Only the slimmest models will fit (scratches guaranteed). A few extra millimeters in width would have been welcome to allow for this option. We’ll also need to take the thickness constraint into account : 75 mm for the entire radiator and fan assembly.
Motherboard The case supports motherboards up to ATX format, including BTF, andair coolers up to 145 mm.
Reservoirs and Pumps
When it comes to installing water-cooling pumps and reservoirs, you’re spoiled for choice. In the front chamber, the simplest solution is to mount the reservoir on a fan (either at the bottom or the top). But it’s also tempting to drill a hole in the cable cover to the right of the motherboard to mount a tube reservoir or an FLT 120. In fact, this plate is easy to remove so it can be drilled outside the case.
And the rear compartment isn’t left out either. It’s far too spacious to be used solely for cable management. It’s therefore possible to install one or more reservoirs or top-mounted pumps there. The only limitation to consider will be the length of the power supply and the cables or hubs that need to be managed.
