New power supplies from DeepCool, with the PN-M series. A range of three power supplies with power ratings from 650W to 850W. What’s more, the price is also very reasonable!
PN-M: entry-level power supplies priced from €90 to €110!
The DeepCool brand is announcing new power supplies, with three models of 650W, 750W and 850W. The models are also fully modular. Speaking of modularity, we’re particularly impressed by the design of the cables, which imitate a sheathed texture strand by strand.
Internally, we have all the necessary electrical protection: OPP, OVP, SCP, OTP, OCP, UVP, SIP and NLO. The same applies to voltages, where we have a single 12V rail. Finally, Japanese capacitors are used, while the blocks benefit from an active PFC, a full-bridge LLC topology and a DC-DC converter. Finally, the hold-up time is 16 ms at 80% load.
The connector system uses a 12V-2×6 connector with 16AWG copper wires (Ø1.53 mm). However, on the smallest power supplies, these will support power ratings of up to 450W. Only the 850W power supply offers a 12V-2×6 at 600W.
All that remains is to talk about prices, with an official invoice of €89.99 for 650W, €99.99 for 750W and €109.99 for 850W. In all cases, the warranty is 10 years.
