NETAC has come up with a new SSD: the NV7000 2Tb NVMe. It’s a brand that may not mean much to you, but it’s beginning to make a name for itself on the European and American markets. Particularly attractive thanks to the ” NVMe 1.4 ” protocol, it promises high performance for a wide range of users. In fact, it can be used not only in a fixed PC, but also in a PS5.
What are its main features?
- High read and write speeds: Netac offers read speeds of up to 7,400 MB/s and write speeds of up to 6,850 MB/s.
- Capacity and endurance: available in several capacities (1TB, 2TB, 4TB). Endurance is 1280TB for the 2TB model. All models come with a five-year warranty.
- NAND technology and controller: they use Micron TLC 176-layer 3D NAND flash and the InnoGrit IG5236 controller. These technologies guarantee optimum performance and reliability.
SSD range performance ?
The brand evaluates the sequential performance of the 2TB version of the NV7000-t at up to 7,300 MB/s read and 6,700 MB/s write. It has passed the CrystalDisk Mark 8 benchmark.
Compatibility, innovation and price
Equipped with a thermal heat sink, it reduces heat to 18°C during operation. This makes it ideal for installation on the PS5, for example. The price for the 2TB version is 145.99 euros.
