A leaked RTX 4090 from Zotac?

A leak allows us to have some images of a custom model (high-end) of an RTX 4090 from Zotac. The model that passes in front of the lens would be an RTX 4090 AMP Extreme. I might as well say it right away: it is massive with a prominent cooling system and an aggressive new design. Zotac RTX 4090 It looks like the card will occupy at least 4 slots and you can see its PCIe Gen 5.0 (12VPWHR) power connector. It seems from the picture that we find the same PCB concept as on the RTX 30. A PCB thus compact with a cooling system going beyond it. For the moment, contradictory information has been circulating about the power consumption of this future card and its TBP (Total Board Power). While for months the rumors have multiplied on an indecent consumption, the RTX 4090 could well take advantage of the 4nm from TSMC to obtain a “measured” TBP. Currently, it would be evaluated at 450W, which means that the card would be powered with a single 16-pin connector that delivers up to 600W of power. Obviously, the big custom models (including this Zotac) should be able to pass this threshold, but we could still keep a single power connector.

RTX 4090 Zotac It is very likely that the 4090, 4080 and even 4070 will be unveiled in the next few days for availability at the beginning of October. The actual launch could take place in 2 steps: first the big 4090 and 4080 and then the 4070 at the very end of the year.
