Better than a Netflix series, the next Nvidia cards have been leaking for months. Between the scores and the twists and turns that call everything into question, we have to remain cautious for a while. Nvidia should give us some details about this month of September. But even today we have a 3DMark Time Spy benchmark of NVIDIA’s RTX 4090 published on Chiphell. If we trust this leak, the alleged RTX 4090 would run at 30°c at rest and 65°C under load thanks to the miracle provided by the use of TSMC 4N etching. The clock speeds would go above 3.0 GHz while the memory would turbinate at 21 Gbps all for a card that would not exceed 450W of TBP ( Total Board Power ).
A stratospheric 4090?
The story seems beautiful and the result obtained under 3DMark Time Spy Extreme would mean doubling the performances compared to an RTX 3090 or even a +80% compared to a 3090Ti… Obviously such a gain is just phenomenal while the card’s power consumption seems to be under control. However, be careful here as well, since the last few days leaked photos of “Founders” models seem to indicate that the top of the range Nvidia card could be triple fan, which is not the sign of a card that consumes less. It will be necessary to follow the GTC (September 22) during which Jensen could reveal the official figures of the next cards with a launch still scheduled for October.
