FSR3 with frame generation in COD MW3

Just as we started updating all our graphics cards with the arrival of NVIDIA’s RTX 4000 SUPER, we’re going to be able to do so again, as we learn today, via our colleagues at Videocardz, of support for FSR3 with frame generation for the game Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3. While the game already supported DLSS3 with NVIDIA’s frame generation, AMD card owners had to make do with FSR 2.1 and Intel XeSS 1.2 for Intel cards. This is a good point for AMD, which is now able to insert its FRS3 technology into an additional game.

Once we’ve tested the performance impact of FRS3 in conjunction with frame generation compared with FRS 2.1, we’ll be back with a brief to share with you the gains achieved for AMD graphics cards. Remember that the RX 7600 XT 16GB will be available next week. While DLSS3 is only compatible with RTX 4000 series graphics cards, FRS3 is already recommended for AMD RX 5000/6000 and can already be activated with Radeon RX590.

The addition of this new game gives AMD a panel of six titles currently compatible with FRS3. NVIDIA, on the other hand, has a much larger catalog of games supporting DLSS3.
