Shortly before Christmas, LG unveiled a new OLED screen. It now has a retail price. The 32GS95UE-B comes with a hefty price tag: $1399!
32GS95UE-B a $1400 bill!
Of course, what justifies such a price tag is, first and foremost, the type of panel used. In fact, this is a 23″ OLED panel with UHD resolution. As for frequency, this panel can operate at 240 Hz in UHD or 480 Hz in 1080p. In all cases, we find a gray-to-gray latency of 0.03 ms.
The rest of the datasheet highlights a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1, while typical brightness rises to 275 cd/m². DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and 1.07 billion colors (10-bit) are also provided. Finally, DCI-P3 color gamut coverage is 98.5%.
Connectivity features two HDMI sockets, complemented by a DisplayPort. There’s also a USB hub with A-type ports. Unfortunately, at this price, USB-C is nowhere to be seen! Finally, we can count on a stand for adjusting the screen in all directions.
