A new driver for AMD graphics cards: RADEON Software Adrenalin Edition 23.9.3. This new version brings support for the latest Cyberpunk 2077 expansion: Phantom Liberty.
Phantom Liberty: a 23.9.3 driver, but not for all cards!
With this new driver, AMD adds support for new video games. It includes support for Payday 3, a new opus in the heist game license. The second title is none other than Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, the expansion for CD Projekt Red’s famous game. However, this version brings no fixes, the change note simply specifies the following known issues:
- Performance overlay may display ” N/A ” in the FPS box on some games.
- Audio/video desynchronization may occur when recording in AV1 via RADEON Software.
- When streaming via AMD Link on some games, the display may freeze intermittently after changing the encoding format. To avoid this problem, select the encoding format before starting the stream!
As far as supported cards are concerned, it’s simple: we find all RDNA-based models. For Polaris & Cie, don’t miss the link to support for these older cards on the driver page. Currently, if you have a GCN card, the only version you’ll be offered is 23.9.2.
