AMD makes Ryzen 7000 official indirectly

Digging around on AMD‘s official website, we discover that the red team lists the new Ryzen 7000 processors within a resource library dedicated to marketing. The only “novelty” in this leak is that only 4 processors appear in these documents while we expect 5 Ryzen 7000 at launch. The Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X, Ryzen 5 7600X…We were also expecting a 7800X which is not in this library and the 7700X was not expected at launch. The availability of these references will also be a topic as some of our sources have been expressing concerns about this lately…

Ryzen 7000: Launch in the next few days?

This little leak reinforces the hypothesis of an imminent release of Ryzen 7000 processors (August 5th?). We know that several major brands are expected to present AM5 motherboards during Gamescom, which takes place in Cologne at the end of August. It seems difficult to imagine motherboards being released without the accompanying CPU (although there have been exceptions).

An AMD “Meet The Expert” event, aimed at business partners, is scheduled for August 5

Other rumours, obviously to be taken with a pinch of salt, suggest that some SKUs will have very limited availability at launch such as the 7700X or and 7600X. In November 2020 when the Ryzen 5000s were launched, the Ryzen 7 5700X was also missing and the 5600X was hard to find. We’ll have to see what AMD does next as the motherboard manufacturers seem to be ready.
