Get your rigs fired up, UL has announced the arrival of a new 3DMark Steel Nomad benchmark. Our Videocardz colleagues are the ones to unveil it, while we have received no email from UL. The UL team expects this future “3DMark Steel Nomad” benchmark to replace Time Spy, which was launched 7 years ago and has already received over 48 million test validations!

This new “3DMark Steel Nomad” benchmark will be compatible with Windows DirectX12 as well as macOS and iOS, but also Android and Linux. UL has not yet announced a launch date for this new benchmark. The company has simply provided three screenshots of the new benchmark, giving an idea of the new scenes that will have you spending hours trying to get the best score with your configuration. Please note that this future benchmark will not support ray tracing. Needless to say, as soon as it is launched, overclockers will be delighted to bring out their best processors and graphics cards in an attempt to break the first world records: ” gentlemen start your engine “!
