RTX 4070, towards production cuts?
As we told you, the RTX 4070 is not selling super well, so much so that its production was put on hold for a month. If NVIDIA doesn’t do this, it could cause logistical problems by overloading card warehouses while risking a massive price drop. Of course, this is not what the chameleon is looking for.
Obviously, not all cards would be shunned by buyers, only the premium versions. When you see that some custom cards exceeding 900 €, we might as well invest a few more bucks and go for an RTX 4070 Ti. Even if the construction of the card is not as careful, the performance is better.
It remains to be seen what impact this production stoppage will have on stocks and prices. For the moment, 4070s are already available under the MSRP of 659 € in France. To be continued.
