Previously available in white/silver, Gigabyte now offers a new black version of its Z790 Aorus Pro X. The brand is launching its card on the sly, since we’ve had no announcement from the brand. The best part? Its availability on Amazon France!
Z790 Aorus Pro X: the card available in black on Amazon France!
This ATX-format motherboard offers the same layout as the white version. In fact, the only change concerns the board’s color, and that’s all. On top, we find the same visuals and markings.
As for connectivity, Gigabyte offers four DDR5 memory slots supporting up to 192 GB of RAM running at up to 8266 MT/s.
As for storage, there are already four SATA III slots, while the M.2 part benefits from five M.2 slots, one of which is PCIe 5.0 x4… The other four will be in PCIe 4.0 x4.
As for the PCIe part, we find :
- 1x PCIe 5.0 x16
- 2x PCIe x16 4.0 wired in x4
The processor’s power supply is entrusted to a power stage featuring 18 1 2 power supply phases. On the other side, we have an 8-layer PCB.
Finally, we find some quality-of-life features, with tool-free mounting of SSDs and a larger remote lever on the PCIe slot. No need to get out a screwdriver to free your graphics card.
As for connectivity, we have WiFi 7, 5 GbE Ethernet via Realtek chip and Realtek ALC1220-VB audio.
As far as prices are concerned, as you can see, the card is already available just about everywhere, but at its most affordable, it trades for less than €400!
