The RTX 4070 Ti would finally be cheaper

It’s a new rumor that popped up in the evening. Nvidia would continue its new logic of re-indexing the prices of its RTX 40. Originally, the future RTX 4070 Ti was supposed to adopt the same price as the cancelled 4080 12GB, that is to say $899 / €1099 in Europe…The greens seem determined to change things. Because those who have a memory still have painful memories. It’s not enough to remember the Golden Age of GTXs or others but to go back to the launch of the RTX 3070Ti. The latter was launched at $599 and 619 euros for Europe (the conversion was more favorable then). As we have been saying for a while, this trend does not bode well for the whole range, including the “small” RTX 40 when you start from such a high price and especially when you dry up the market of other less expensive cards. So Nvidia would have the idea to sell its RTX 4070 Ti cheaper…

Rumor: a lower price because of the RX 7900 XT?

Because factually, with a price of $ 899, the RTX 4070 Ti is frontally positioned against the Radeon RX 7900 XT. So WCCFTech understands that Nvidia will lower the positioning of the new entrant by €50, either by intervening on the AIC or by applying this price itself at launch. Because even at $849, the RX 7090 XT will probably have better raw performance. Obviously Nvidia will argue its better capabilities in titles exploiting Ray Tracing technology, but the game will not be simple. But maybe with 50 dollars less, NVIDIA thinks that the final customer will finally give a little more credit to his new card. Now it remains to be seen if these rumors will come true early this year.
