AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D on sale?

We were talking about CPU sales not so long ago to mention Intel’s performance and the surprising resilience of AMD’s AM4 range. Within this range, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is now a good plan for those who want to build an exclusively gaming machine. While we didn’t think much of its life expectancy when it was released, this CPU is enjoying a second youth. Good news, it seems that AMD wants to amplify the movement by lowering its selling price. If we consider the US market, this processor launched at $449 is now positioned at $329, only 2 quarters after its launch. In Europe, the drop is also there, since it can be found under 400€ and the movement could accelerate.

AMD 5800X3D performance The new positioning of the 5800X3D puts it in direct competition with the Ryzen 5 7600X and the Ryzen 7 7700X. Its acquisition cost (the complete platform) makes its performance / price ratio much more advantageous at the end of this year, economically speaking. In addition, there is an offer to obtain a free license of Uncharted: Legacy of The Thieves Collection which includes two games. So we can consider that investing on the AM4 platform is not a good strategy but for those who already have an AMD PC, it is a wise choice. Finally, it is likely that the availability of these “high-end” AMD cpus will die out relatively quickly during this last quarter.
