It’s no secret that Nvidia is preparing to launch its RTX 5060 Ti in the next few days. The 5060 Ti will come in two VRAM variants: 8GB and 16GB. These new cards from the Greens are expected on the 16th of April 2025, while the classic 5060 model will arrive in mid-May. According to several rumours in recent hours, Nvidia would like to launch these cards while maintaining the same price positioning as the current RTX 4060 Ti. So, once again, let’s not get carried away too quickly. Remember, though, that the MSRP for the RTX 4060Ti at launch was $399 for the 8GB model and $499 for the 16GB model. A logical positioning, even if the MSRP for the RTX 5070 is $549 (€629)…
RTX 5060 Ti: prices and stock?
Once again, compliance with the MSRP will be the main issue for these references. Nvidia has postponed the launch, presumably with the ambition of bringing more volume onto the market to avoid price inflation, and to try and calm potential customer discontent, which has been growing since the first RTX 50 launches.
AMD is also expected to launch its Radeon RX 9060 XT cards. For the moment, the Reds are hiding their cards, and we don’t know when the announcements will be made for these versions. In recent weeks, leaks of pre-assembled PCs from several brands equipped with RTX 5060 / 5060Ti have been multiplying. Coming back to the 4060 TI, these cards continue to sell very well and if the positioning of the 5060 Ti is confirmed, it’s conceivable that we could take advantage of a small drop in the prices of the various 4060 Ti variants in order to clear stocks… But that’s in an ideal world.
