Clearly, the Japanese like Noctua products. As we reported here, Cycom already offers boards cooled by two Noctua NF-A12x25s. However, some of the brand’s machines also come with outlandish configurations… Just think of this RTX 4080 Super equipped with a 240 AIO and two Noctua fans… While the card itself benefits from a three-fan heatsink.

As you can see, this Sycom model is a very special card. Indeed, the board’s main heatsink comes from Manli. Clearly, we recognize the cooling system of the Gallardo series.
However, despite its size (3 slots), this still doesn’t seem to be enough, as Sycom has opted for an additional cooling system. As you can see, a 240 mm AIO is included. According to the description, the latter is supplied by Asetek and, in this case, is cooled by two Noctua fans. Once again, we’re talking about NF-A12x25s, but in their ULN version, optimized for silence.
In short, this convoluted solution would, on paper, reduce temperatures by 10 to 15°C compared to a more conventional cooling system. All that remains is that this system comes at a price: €175 (28,230 yen) compared to the assembler’s standard offering.
