For weeks now, we’ve been telling you about the return of the RTX 3060 12Gb, in an attempt to bring down market fever. At first, the story seemed like a joke. The problem is that week after week, this hypothesis becomes more and more credible. But let’s be a little lucid. In this period of doldrums, pulling out this little card could give the market a little breathing space. And it’s worth noting that Nvidia seems to be working hard on this front… But as always, it’s the price that worries us here.

RTX 3060 12Gb on the market in July?
In any case, Nvidia seems to be on the verge of relaunching the RTX 3060, by giving Samsung the task of producing the chips using an ultra-mature (and ultra-profitable, too) process. Production would start in June, with chips arriving for partners such as ASUS, MSI, Colorfull and Palit. So, by the end of summer, we could be seeing the return of a card that’s now more than five years old.
A new message on Board Channels reinforces the rumor that Nvidia will be relaunching production of the GeForce RTX 3060 12GB. The information is in line with our previous news briefs: deliveries of these GPUs will resume as early as June. Graphics card manufacturers should then receive the chips as soon as possible, and be able to offer the “new” cards around July. Supply will remain limited, however, with volumes varying from one partner to another. This would therefore seem to be more of a targeted return of the model than a truly massive relaunch of this reference.
The next few days should tell us a little more, even if we seem to be past the rumor stage now.
