Review: NVIDIA RTX 5070 (SUPER) Founders Edition

Damn, NVIDIA must have made a mistake because they sent us a copy of the upcoming NVIDIA RTX 5070 SUPER Founders Edition instead of the RTX 5070 Founders Edition. Well, behind this rather racy title, we’re going to explain why we had this feeling, and above all, why our article is going to follow a different chronology to what we’re used to offering you!

So, why are we talking about an NVIDIA RTX 5070 SUPER Founders Edition? In our test protocol, we start with the synthetic tests, then the gaming part , the evaluation of power consumption and finally, we finish with the overclocking potential. While the overclocking potential of the RTX 5070 Ti was already interesting, we found that of our Founders Edition model even more intriguing. The power limit, which remains the key to overclocking on this generation of RTX 5000s, allows us to go up to 110%, i.e. 10% more than the power consumption announced by NVIDIA, i.e. 250 watts +10% = 275 watts. And we’re going to see that our very stable overclocking has enabled us to achieve a gain of almost 14% in gaming performance.
