Thanks to Gigabyte, we’ve had the opportunity to review the entire RTX 4000 SUPER range, with today’s test of the Gigabyte RTX 4080 SUPER Gaming OC. Over the past two weeks, we’ve brought you the RTX 4070 SUPER Gaming OC. This is the latest model in the “SUPER” series announced by NVIDIA at CES 2024 in Las Vegas.

The NVIDIA RTX 4080 SUPER officially arrives on January 31 at the MSRP price of 1109 euros ($999). This is excellent news on the price front, since the RTX 4080 was launched at $1199. As with the RTX 4070 Ti, production of the RTX 4080 will cease. While the amount of memory remains unchanged at 16 GB, the number of CUDA cores has risen from 9728 to 10240, so we should see a slight gain in performance over the RTX 4080.

Thanks to Gigabyte for making this Gigabyte RTX 4080 SUPER Gaming OC available. At the end of the week, we’ll be doing a review of this “SUPER” series, and of Gigabyte’s three models in particular.
