The last word
So we finish with the test of this Corsair kit on a good note. We have here a sober and efficient kit that can easily offer good performances on an entry-level DDR5 configuration. Finally, this would be possible if Corsair’s price list was updated. As it is, this kit is 100€ too expensive compared to the competition, which has adjusted its prices following the release of the A-die kit at around 320-370€ for the first price.
As a reminder, this kit is offered at $277.99 on Amazon or 334.99 € on the Corsair website. The white RGB version is priced at $284.99 or 344.99 €.
Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB 6200 MT/s CL36:
We liked:
- The overclocking capabilities for Hynix M-die chips
- The design of the kit
- The easy identification
We would have liked:
- A PMIC supporting AMD platforms
- A price adjustment
This Corsair Vengeance 6200 Mt/s CL36 kit is a kit that was almost my DDR5 kit before the arrival of DDR5 because of its price positioning at the beginning of the year (around 330 €). Today, this kit could also be suitable for most people but unfortunately we have for 30 € more the 7000 CL34 and 7200 CL34 versions with or without RGB. It would take a positioning between 200 and 250 € for this kit to become interesting again.
