After a series of tests of kits equipped with last generation A-die chips, we review today a Corsair Vengeance 6200 MT/s CL36 kit. This kit is equipped with Hynix M-die chips and is positioned on the entry-level performance range of Corsair.
We are here on a kit which was the subject of a competition in early 2022 organized by Corsair whose final took place in Taiwan. The kits then proposed were Vengeance 6200 Mt/s CL36, but designed on a 10-layer PCB base. Here, we are on a retail kit with 8-layer PCB that we will test on our Alder Lake platform.
On the price side, you’ll have to count $277.99 or 334.99 € for this kit on average, a high price that has not dropped in a year when the competition offers 6400C32 kits at 250 €. An incomprehensible price when you know that the 7000 and 7200 CL34 Corsair kits are sold at barely higher prices, at aggressive rates for the A-die.
As CornerJack is not the one testing this kit, I could not compare it to the other kits previously tested. However, we leave you free to look at it and compare it with the results obtained on its Z690 APEX.
