Razer Project Sophia: the setup of the future?

Razer is accustomed to concepts without tomorrow but often the brand surprises and innovates, especially when it must make noise on a show. It is for this CES 2022 that Razer presented its vision of the office / setup called “Project Sophia”.

Razer Project Sophia

This desktop is customizable with various modules that take up ideas already explored by the brand. They provide a certain scalability by coming to fix magnetically on the desk from below. Because you understood it well, we are not talking about a “gamer” desk like the one we discovered at Secret Lab but an all-in-one product integrating the PC. The scalability is thus put forward through these hot-swappable modules. Be careful though, don’t expect to be able to change your ram or your motherboard, we’re talking about accessories such as secondary screens, system monitoring tools, keyboard shortcut and macro panels, pen tablets, audio mixing tools and external capture cards. For all that, the system is built with the “latest Intel processors and Nvidia GPUs.”

In fact Razer in its project is not aimed at DIYers but targets gamers, content creators, streamers or professionals. In this spirit, its “modularity” allows to quickly reconfigure its setup to adapt to several roles. With an OLED screen from 65 to 77″ we imagine that it will take the room in relation (and the bank account obviously). Not obvious however that Razer gives life to this concept which will have had the merit, as every year, to attract the light on the entire stand of the brand.
